Divorce Coaching

What is Divorce Coaching?

A divorce coach is a professional trained in coaching, that helps parties throughout the divorce process and beyond.

More specifically, divorce coaches train clients on how to deal with the dynamics of divorce.

There are several aspects to divorce such as: legal, emotional, financial, co-parenting and more. A divorce coach can help give you clarity when you need it most. Divorce can be overwhelming and confusing, and a divorce coach can help break things down for you, so you are better able to deal with things as they come up and are able to make decisions on a clear mind.

Divorce coaching is not to be confused with counselling. If the divorce coach feels you need counselling throughout the process, they can refer you to the appropriate party for counselling. A divorce coach does not provide legal advice either. Again, a divorce coach can direct you on how can help you deal with certain matters along the way.

Divorce coaching can be used in conjunction with other services such as litigation, mediation, etc.

Coaching is a new profession to the world of separation and divorce, and some people may not be familiar with the concept. Divorce is not easy; it is extremely stressful and overwhelming, however, divorce coaching helps and many people are benefiting from this service.
