Absolute Dispute Resolution offers document preparation for separation agreements, joint and simple divorces.
Separation Agreements
Absolute Dispute Resolution helps the parties create a mutually beneficial Separation Agreement through the mediation process. Both parties are able to contribute equally to the agreement and only when both parties are satisfied, is the final agreement created.
For a Separation Agreement to be legally binding, it must be accompanied by a Certificate of Independent Legal Advice. The process is simple; both parties will have their lawyer review the agreement to ensure their legal rights are protected.
The preparation of your Separation Agreement is stricly an administrative service and does not imply any legal advice or legal service has been provided to you. The Separation Agreement is a reproduction of the information received from you throughout the course of the mediation process. It is recommeneded that you obtain Independent Legal Advice prior to signing any legally binding agreement or contract, such as your Separation Agreement.
Our fees for Separation Agreements are $125 per hour per person. A retainer of $1,000 per person is applicable and is applied towards all future invoices.
Basket Divorces
Basket divorces are uncontested divorces, meaning either both parties sign an Application for Divorce or one-party signs, and the other party is served with the document. As long as the other party is not contesting, you qualify for a basket divorce.
This is the quickest and cheapest way to obtain a divorce.
Before proceeding with your divorce, you should ensure there are no outstanding issues relating to your separation. If you need legal advice, you should consult with a family lawyer.
